An important message for time-poor business owners who want to grow their business with less hassle and fewer distractions

If the headline at the top of the page describes you, then reading the rest of it will be beneficial in and of itself, even if you do nothing at the end

Roughly 80% of your time is spent on admin and project management

The other 20% is spent where it matters: attracting new clients and making more money.

I could sit here and tell you I'm going to free up your time so you can work on the business – any VA will promise you that.

You don't need someone telling you you need to free up more time – you already know that.

You know you're overworking yourself...

But you don't know how to stop, or how to change it.

Right now I want you to think about what you need the most.

And if what I'm saying doesn't resonate with you, you can stop reading this page and move on, because I have nothing for you and have no reason or desire to try and encourage you to change.

But if you're ready and willing to stop running round like a headless chicken and focus on scaling a business to support the life you always dreamed of, pay attention.

The most important activity in any business is one that moves the needle: attracts more clients, makes more money, and serves the clients you have. Without those three things, you don't have a business – you have a hobby.

You need someone who can help you in the weeds, give you hands-on support to grow your business, attract more clients and increase conversions and sales by taking over the time-consuming and draining aspects of your marketing.

I can help you free up more time and energy to work on business strategy and development, by giving you hands-on support to make it happen like clockwork – giving you the time and energy to focus on attracting more qualified clients and converting them and fees and prices you’re worth.

All you should be focusing on as the business owner is dealing with the high quality prospects and clients your marketing efforts bring knocking at your door – but you can't do any of this if you're stuck on the busy work.

Which is why I've dedicated myself to helping frustrated time-poor business owners manage and implement their marketing projects and strategies, and free up time to deal with the high-quality prospects and clients they bring a-knocking.

Without realising it, you're sacrificing your business

While you're stuck in the weeds and handling your own marketing operations, admin and project management, you're holding your business back.

You are the heart of your business – and without you steering the ship, it isn't going to go anywhere. Without a captain, there is no ship ('cause it's sunk to the bottom of Davey Jones' bloody Locker).

Most business owners think they need to keep busy to remain productive... but that's a lie. It's a lie you were told back when you were an employee, when you were brain-washed into thinking you had to be 'doing something' every passing minute to be worth your wage.

There's more impactful and valuable activities you could (and should) be spending your time on. Such as...

  • Strategic planning, biz development and innovation, client relationships and product development, long-term planning
  • Expansion and diversification: competitor research, target market research, launching new products and services
  • Professional development and learning important skills to run the business (especially in your marketing and sales skills – 'cause that's what drives the business)
  • And most important... spending quality time with your family and catching up with rest to avoid burn out, overwhelm, and anxiety. The more stress you're under, the less present you are to your family and spouse... the consequences will be catastrophic.
Your health will deteriorate, mentally and physically – and how are you supposed to take care of your family then?
And without the proper rest, recuperation and enjoying the small things in life (and doing the things you dreamed of when you opened up shop in the first place), you're going to become stuck in a sorry-cycle of burn-out, stress, anxiety and overwhelm. What will happen then? Go back to employment and the misery of working for someone else on someone else's watch?

I've said it before, I'll say it again

Most business owners spend 80% of their time on administrative and project management tasks rather than marketing, product development or client delivery.

Don’t believe me?

Do a time study. Go away for 2 weeks, monitor everything you do every 15 minutes. Come back to me then and tell me you’re not up the ears in busy-work, and sacrificing your family time and business growth.

I get it: you need to be in control.

You're so used to doing it all yourself, you're scared to let go.

Perhaps you don't know what do other than the busy work, or you don't want to come away from it.

And that's OK.

You don't have to do anything – but know this...

If you want different results, you have to take different action.

You can't keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results.

If you're hell-bent on growing your business, but you feel like you've hit a glass ceiling because there's not enough time in the day and you're waiting for things to 'quieten down' before kicking off your long-overdue marketing campaign to attract new clients...

Doing what you're doing now and juggling 26 different hats won't get you to where you want to be.

But it's not your fault

Many societies glorify busyness and equate it with productivity and success. And it's drilled into us since we were kids – the pressure to always be busy to prove your worth and meet expectations.

Because if you didn't, you were 'lazy', 'ungrateful'. They'd tell you you'd never amount to anything in life.

As a result, as you grow into an adult you tie your self-worth with how busy and productive you are.

You seek validation from others, and from yourself – because society has told you that's how it's done.

And when you're in the habit and accustomed to a busy lifestyle and working to prove your worth as a student, employee, manager, and human being... it's hard as nails to break. Even when there's no external pressure and it's all coming from within you, you find yourself constantly searching for something else to do to fill or time.

Otherwise it's unproductive, lazy, and not moving in the right direction.

Now, that's a sure fire way to burn yourself out and earn a one way ticket to I-can't-do-this-anymore.

And if you don't choose to break the cycle, things will never get better.

You'll be forever stuck in the sorry-cycle of 'busy work', being a glorified employee who's stuck beneath that glass ceiling.

Like I said, if you're happy where you are and doing it all, have at it.

I have nothing more for you.

But remember this:

If you don't change your actions, your results won't change

You started your business to have the freedom and autonomy to do what you want, when you want, with who you want, and making enough money to fuel your dream lifestyle and your family's future.

Instead, you're stuck. You take work home with you, checking your emails and 'finishing up' client projects in front of the TV in the evenings.

You're not present for your family (or for yourself) because you're distracted – your mind is always on what needs to be done at work, overdue projects and demanding clients.

How long will it be before your kids grow up and leave home?

Do you really want to waste that time until then glued to a computer screen because you've got just 'one more thing' to get done before bedtime?

Are you prepared to spend your holidays and time-off checking emails and rushing to get databases and automations together to kick off the next marketing campaign the following week?

Or do you want to free up more time to spend doing what you enjoy – quality time with your spouse and kids and enjoying the benefits of working to your own schedule?

How much more time can you put in to your business before you crash and burn?

A question for you...

If you...

  • Want more time and energy to spend with the family and reap the rewards of working on your own schedule and doing what you want, when you want
  • Are ready to reduce stress, overwhelm and anxiety and take back control of your life and business
  • Are in a position you want to grow the business and make more money
  • Want to switch off from work and establish a better home life away from business
  • Want to be more present with your family and take holidays without the stress and headache of project work and admin work
  • Want to focus on serving your clients to the best you can offer without the stress and strain of dealing with the emails, questions and admin that comes with it
  • Don't want the stress, hassle and hidden costs coming with hiring an employee
